A wiser man than myself once wrote: "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." For those of us who've been following all the Android happenings at and around CES this week, that sentence seems to sum things up perfectly.

... then the Jaypo must go to the Eclair. Just this once I'm not talking about the succulent treat that pleases sweet toothes and widens waistlines, but version 2.1 of Google's Android.

For the past month or so, I’ve been in bad want of a new phone.  There’s nothing wrong with my Blackberry a new battery wouldn’t fix, but I’m sick of looking at it.
